Dr. Heather Lawrence graduated from the prestigious and academically rigorous Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College after obtaining her Bachelor of Science, Human Kinetics degree from the University of Guelph.
As a varsity volleyball athlete playing in both the Ontario University Athletics at Guelph University and National Collegiate Athletic Association at Augusta State University in Georgia, Dr. Lawrence recognized her love of athletics, academia and especially anatomy. Interested in healthcare from an early age, chiropractic was the perfect fit as it encompassed the understanding of the human body and the ability to restore, maintain and improve function through hands-on health care.
Dr. Lawrence’s approach caters to the individual’s needs, lifestyle, goals and preferences. A thorough history, physical exam and discussion of management options allow patients to have an open dialogue with respect to their treatment options and expectations. Treatments are backed by clinical research and include spinal and extremity manipulative therapy, muscle release therapy, acupuncture and therapeutic modalities.
