Roxana tailors her approach to each client’s needs, emphasizing the body’s natural healing ability. She creates a supportive and safe space for all, with a focus on women’s health, supporting clients through their health journey. Roxana also enjoys working with children to reduce stress, improve sleep, enhance body awareness, and support athletic endeavours.
Her treatments use techniques like myofascial release, muscle energy, stretching, IASTM, and neuromuscular therapy.
About
Roxana lives in West Vancouver with her husband and son. She enjoys outdoor activities, cooking, any activity that gets her body moving. Fascinated by the human body and mind, she is always looking to expand her knowledge and understanding.
Why she became a RMT
Roxana became an RMT to combine her love of helping others, active work, and the exploration of the intricacies of the human body. Personal injury experiences fuelled her empathy and deepened her understanding of the role of massage therapy in aiding the nervous system, pain management, and facilitating injury recovery. She is an advocate for a multi-disciplinary approach to well-being.
Athletics
Roxana is always seeking new ways to stay strong, age gracefully, and have fun. She recently began her CrossFit journey and has rediscovered her passion for snowboarding after a long break. In the summer, she enjoys paddle boarding on local waters.
Over the years, Roxana has explored various activities, including Pilates, yoga, aerial silks, rock climbing, and jiu-jitsu. Her Pilates teaching experience also sparked her love for helping others improve their movement.
