Approach

Lauren is passionate about restoring and maintaining people’s health and well-being. She believes in a holistic approach, providing care and educating and empowering people to achieve long-term wellness. She has always wanted to work in healthcare and has seen the benefits of massage first-hand after experiencing a few injuries herself. She likes incorporating lots of movement in her treatments, allowing the patient to participate in their treatment.

About

Lauren grew up on the North Shore, where she developed a love for the outdoors, particularly rock climbing in Squamish and in the local gyms. She decided to be a massage therapist after a brief stint in nursing school, realizing she wanted to take a more holistic approach to health.

In her free time, she loves rock climbing, weightlifting, and being outdoors whenever she can.

Why she became a RMT

Lauren learned about the benefits of a well rounded approach to health in 2020. She benefited from manual therapy after many rock climbing injuries and noticed how helpful both relaxation and therapeutic massages can be in recovery and maintenance.
