Areas of Expertise

  • Rotator Cuff Injuries
  • Tension Headaches
  • Pre and Post Natal

Qualifications

Mallory graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2019.

Approach

Mallory's treatment approach can be described as slow, therapeutic, intuitive. She believes everyone could use a space to de-stress and that the body responds better to treatments if it can relax first. She takes a special interest in treating rotator cuff injuries as well as neck pain and tension headaches.

About

Mallory grew up on Vancouver Island, born in Ucluelet and raised in Parksville. She has done a lot of travelling, and some of her favourite places are Brazil, Colombia, Vietnam, and Peru.

Why she became a RMT

Being involved in athletics gave Mallory a natural curiosity about the human body, and so a career in massage therapy was a natural fit. She was lucky enough to only have suffered minor injuries over the course of 25+ years of competitive sport, but it made her realize the importance of body awareness, and "pre-hab".

Athletics

Mallory played many sports in high school: basketball, soccer, volleyball, tennis, track and field. She found her passion for beach and indoor volleyball, and won several provincial titles in both over the years. She played indoor volleyball at Vancouver Island University, and still plays competitive beach volleyball.

Something you should know about her

Mallory is a Vancouver Canucks fan, and will chat your ear off about them if you let her!
