Approach

Emily takes a full body, integrated approach to care. She understands that pain and dysfunction are rarely isolated to one area, and that movement patterns, compensation, and surrounding structures all play a role in recovery. Her treatments may include a combination of myofascial techniques, cranial-sacral, and Swedish massage, tailored to each client’s needs. Emily’s goal is to help clients reduce pain, restore function, and move more comfortably toward their personal health goals.

About

Born and raised in Port Moody, Emily has always had a strong connection to sport and movement. She grew up participating in lacrosse, horseback riding, field hockey, and soccer, experiences that continue to shape both her active lifestyle and her clinical perspective.

Why she became a RMT

Emily has always been passionate about helping others. After personally experiencing the benefits of massage therapy while recovering from sports related injuries, she became inspired by the meaningful role RMTs play in rehabilitation and long term wellness. She is dedicated to supporting clients in achieving what matters most to them, whether that’s managing pain, returning to a favourite activity, or improving everyday function.

Athletics

Emily’s love of sport runs deep. She spent her most competitive years playing field hockey, which led her to compete at the Division I level at the University of Massachusetts. Today, she enjoys running, hiking, aerial yoga, and yin yoga, and is always eager to explore new ways of moving and challenging herself.

Something you should know about her

Emily feels most at home outdoors. When she’s not in the clinic or spending time with family, you’ll often find her hiking, camping, or planning her next travel adventure.
