Education & Background

Brad graduated from Simon Fraser University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. After graduating, he worked in social services, managing homes for youth in care. Over the years, Brad gained extensive experience working with high-risk youth aged 8 to 18 and their families.

In 2022, Brad decided to further his education and obtained his Master’s in Clinical Counseling at City University of Seattle. Although he has a particular interest in working with athletes, Brad is excited to support people from all backgrounds and experiences.

Sports & Athletic Experience

Brad has a strong background in sports, both as an athlete and a coach. He played football at the Junior level in the Canadian Junior Football League (CJFL) with Langley, winning multiple Provincial championships and hosting the National championship twice. In 2013, he was honoured with the CJFL Past Commissioners’ Award for his contributions to the community.

Following his time as a player, Brad transitioned into coaching Minor and Junior football in Langley for several years. Today, he continues to stay involved in sports as a competitive powerlifter, representing at an international level. His lifelong involvement in sports has given him a deep understanding of the mental side of performance in athletics, which informs his approach to counselling.

Continued Learning

Brad is dedicated to continuous learning. He has completed various courses and workshops on trauma and development, cultural safety and awareness, and suicide prevention and awareness.
