Back in Action: COVID Clinic Policies and Procedures

To our valued clients,

We are excited to announce that the clinic is open for all patient services.

We have implemented new procedures to ensure we are meeting the standards of both the government and our professional regulatory bodies. We recognize that this is a change from the Impulse you know, but please be assured that it is only because the health of both our clients and our team is our first priority.

  1. Arrive on-time for your visits. Please pay close attention to your treatment time, as it will be quite specific due to our implementation of staggered start times. This is in an effort to limit client cross-over and the number of people in our common spaces, as well as to allow time for disinfecting thoroughly between treatments.
  2. Please do not come in to the clinic until your appointment time. We have a very limited lobby at this time and ask that you be mindful of distance from other clients.
  3. Be respectful of physical distancing (6ft) with anyone other than your therapist. This includes in our clinic common spaces, as well as our hallways and washrooms.
  4. Please come alone to your appointment unless you require assistance.
  5. Bring a mask or face covering for use while in our building. For anyone arriving without a mask, we do have them available for sale.
  6. When you arrive, you will find a table with hand sanitizer which we ask that you use. Please do not wear gloves into the clinic that you have been wearing prior to your arrival (if you would like clean gloves when you arrive, we have these available).
  7. In our effort to limit contact with our admin team we will be asking that you update your credit card on file (you can do this with reception when you arrive or over the phone), or utilize visa tap, so that we can complete payment without contact. We will also be continuing to implement direct billing when possible. Please note we will not be accepting cash right now.
  8. If you are sick, have travelled outside of BC in the last 14 days, or have come into direct contact with someone who has been ill, please reschedule your appointment and clinic cancellation fees will be waived. If you arrive at Impulse showing symptoms of being sick, we will be sending you home. Please look at this Covid-19 self-assessment tool prior to your session https://bc.thrive.health/covid19/en
  9. Please bring as little “extra” with you as possible in the way of bags, jackets, etc. (This of course does not apply to chocolate which is always welcome in any quantity).

We do continue to offer Telehealth appointments for Chiropractic & Physiotherapy for anyone wishing to continue their sessions from home.

Please know that we’re here for you. These are unprecedented times so please be patient as we navigate this together. Should you require assistance with booking, payments or you have questions, please call or email the clinic and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
