Juliana grew up in St. John’s, Newfoundland where her family still resides today. Juliana grew up playing competitive soccer and rugby and competed across Canada and the USA. She still remains very active at the gym and on the trails hiking, running, and biking.

Why she became a Physiotherapist

Having an athletic background and experiencing her own injuries, Juliana had positive results with physiotherapy growing up. She decided in high school that it was the career path she wanted to follow so she studied hard for 6 years to make that dream come true.

Something you should know about Juliana

Juliana’s love for the ocean also had her considering becoming a marine biologist, but because she gets seasick decided sticking to land and becoming a physiotherapist would be a better choice. She is married to Domenic (don’t use it against her). The two met in physiotherapy school in Ontario and they started their life together in BC in 2012.
