Lindsay graduated from UBC with a Bachelors in Health Science in 2007 and graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2014
Approach
Lindsay uses her knowledge and care to enable clients to be more successful in all aspects of their professional, personal, and recreational lives. She believes that assessment, evidence-based manual therapy, and therapeutic exercise will allow each patient to reach their full potential and maintain healthy and active lifestyles.
Lindsay uses a combination of active and passive forms of treatment such as trigger point release, passive and contractile myofascial release techniques, Ligamentous Articular Strain Techniques, Deep Systemic Treatments, Instrument Assisted Techniques, and Kinesio taping to help each patient reach their goals.
About
Lindsay has a wide range of experience working with clients who suffer from various conditions such as overuse injuries, low back pain, postural dysfunctions, and headaches. She has a particular interest in working with athletes and enjoys learning about the biomechanics and mechanisms of injury in all different sports. Her goal to is to return athletes to full function, with minimal interruption to training. She has had experience working with International Rugby 7s, PGA events, Varsity Track and Field teams, and various running events.
Why she became a RMT
As an athlete herself, she has personally experienced and witnessed the benefits of massage therapy in injury treatment, prevention, and maintaining general health and wellbeing.
